Qualifications
-
Master’s degree or higher in a behavioral health field

Current State Board of Behavioral Health licensure in at least one of the following:
-
Social Work
-
Professional Counseling
-
Marriage and Family Counseling
-
-
Independently licensed or actively pursuing independent licensure through the state
-
Ability to work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults
-
Strong communication and clinical counseling skills
-
Ability to provide therapeutic services addressing a range of behavioral health and substance use concerns
Duties
-
Provide therapy sessions under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor
-
Coordinate all aspects of client care from admission through discharge in accordance with Canfield Counseling policies
-
Orient clients to services and educate them on treatment goals
-
Monitor client progress to ensure treatment plans are followed
-
Facilitate group sessions and provide psychoeducation as needed
-
Address and resolve client concerns in a timely and professional manner
-
Attend required staff meetings
-
Maintain accurate client records and complete required documentation
-
Return phone calls and emails promptly
-
Demonstrate a commitment to comprehensive, client-centered care from intake through discharge
