Allison Wipke

(she/her)
Pre-licensed Counselor

I believe that healing and growth can happen through authentic connection and collaboration, and I aim to meet clients where they are with openness, empathy, and curiosity. I am passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard, understood and empowered. I strive to foster a therapeutic environment grounded in trust and respect where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and emotions at their own pace.

My clinical approach is grounded in humanistic, person-centered theory, and emphasizes a strengths-based perspective that honors each individual’s resilience and capacity for change. I draw from the core principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and thoughtfully integrate other evidence-based interventions to support meaningful change aligned with their values. I am committed to practicing with cultural humility, recognizing the importance of understanding each client’s unique cultural, social, and systemic context while engaging in ongoing self-reflection and learning.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and am completing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Saybrook University. As a pre-licensed counselor, I am receiving direct supervision from AZBBHE approved supervisor, Taylor Oberhelman-McLeod, M.A., LPC.
