Savannah Fries
(she/her)
Pre-licensed Counselor
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern Arizona University and am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Prescott College. My background in Women and Gender Studies continues to shape my intersectional approach to mental health, helping me consider how identity, culture, and lived experience influence each person’s perspective and relationships.
I enjoy working with clients of all genders, particularly tweens, teens, and adults navigating identity, emotions, and relationships. I have a strong passion for supporting LGBTQIA+ and queer clients and strive to create a space that is affirming, inclusive, and grounded in respect for each client’s lived experience.
My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with a focus on emotional awareness, coping skills, self-compassion, and rebuilding confidence and trust in oneself.
Outside of clinical work, I enjoy reading and spending time with my cat, Eden.
As a pre-licensed counselor, I am receiving direct clinical supervision from AZBBHE approved Diana Canfield, M.S., LPC.
