Manya Brown
(she/her)
Pre-licensed Counselor
Many of us understand how deeply struggles can overwhelm and isolate us, leaving us feeling stuck, confused, or even scared. Welcome. Here, your experience is met with the understanding that it is real and valid. I am here to listen, to believe you without judgment, and to hold space with warmth and acceptance. My practice is grounded in body-positivity, creating a safe haven where all parts of you are welcome.
There is profound hope. Together, we can gently discover the tools to free you from mental blocks, negative thought loops, and other hurdles that can feel so limiting. Using empathy and approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy, we'll clear a path toward the future you imagine for yourself. You deserve a future built on self-compassion, resilience, and inner freedom.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am completing my Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. As a pre-licensed counselor working under supervision, I am honored to work with people of all ages and from every walk of life, offering support with no judgment whatsoever. I receive direct supervision from Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE)-approved supervisors, Diana Canfield, M.S., LPC, and Virginia Kuhn, M.A., LPC.
I truly believe that humanity thrives when each of us feels empowered to be our best selves. By working together to help you reach your goals and build a meaningful life, we contribute not only to your well-being but to healthier, more connected communities. I look forward to partnering with you as we journey toward the hope and freedom you deserve.
