Emily Pittmann

(she/her)
Pre-licensed Counselor

I believe that you are the expert of your experiences and journey and that I, as your counselor, am there to walk alongside you and support you on that journey. I believe that at the core of our therapeutic relationship should be a foundation of trust, respect, transparency, and empathy. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, life stress, or trauma, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing all your thoughts and feelings, free from judgement.

I view therapy as a collaborative experience and I utilize a personalized approach, drawing from various evidence-based approaches, such as Psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), to give you the tools you need to reach your goals.

Changes are inevitable, transitions can be psychological. Together, we can work to build resilience and empowerment so you can confidently navigate the changes life brings.

I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the CACREP-accredited online counseling program at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. As a pre-licensed counselor, I am receiving direct clinical supervision from AZBBHE approved Taylor Oberhelman-McLeod, M.A., LPC, Virginia Kuhn, M.A., LPC and Diana Canfield, M.S., LPC.
